WATCH: Is Pia Wurtzbach going to play Darna or Valentina?
MANILA, Philippines — Following reports that Pia Wurtzbach is willing to audition and give everything to bag the highly sought-after Darna role, the actress-beauty queen admitted that she was unable to audition for it when auditions were opened to the public last weekend in ABS-CBN.
“No, I didn’t audition because I was traveling when I found out that they were doing the auditions, but we’ll see what happens,” Miss Universe 2015 told the press, including Philstar.com, in an interview following her launch as endorser of Cream Silk’s Triple Keratin Rescue Ultimate Color Revive on Wednesday night.
Although unable to audition last weekend, Pia professed she still wants to audition for the role.
“I feel that this is everybody’s dream role and I feel that everybody would jump at the opportunity to try for Darna so, why not?”
When Philstar.com asked Pia to give a sample to shout “Darna,” the beauty queen laughingly declined.
“No! Next time na lang!” she avowed.
But besides Darna, is Pia willing to trade her Cream Silk-conditioned locks for Valentina’s snakes?
“Whatever that they decide to give me, you know, and whatever they see me fit, I’ll take it!”
