What Joshua Garcia said about Julia Barretto’s movie with Gerald Anderson
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto revealed that on-screen partner and rumored boyfriend Joshua Garcia is happy upon learning that she will be paired with Gerald Anderson in her upcoming movie.
In a recent press conference for Julia and Gerald’s new movie “Between Maybes,” Julia confessed it took some time for her to tell Joshua who is going to be paired with her for the movie.
“To be very honest, it took me sometime to tell him kung sino ang gagawa because I wanted to make sure na once I tell Josh dapat sure na ‘yung actor na ‘yun ang gagawa talaga. Once I found out, I told him. To be very honest, natuwa siya na si Gerald, natuwa siya na it was to somebody na a couple of years older than me rather sa ka-age ko,” Julia said.
Julia said she is thankful for her love team with Joshua as it has done a lot of good things for her career.
“Being in a love team, it can really do a lot of things for you, it can really take you to so many places na maggo-grow ka talaga at marami kang matututunan and you will be thankful for that experience,” Julia said.
She noted, however, that they both know that there will come a time when they will be separated to do solo projects in the future, but they respected each other’s decision.
“But alam namin ni Josh sa isa’t isa na sa journey namin, sooner or later, darating talaga ‘yung time na magkakaroon kami ng kanya-kanyang naming project and we respected that kasi pareho naming mahal yung ginagawa namin,” Julia said.
“We respected the fact na it’s what’s best for us, ‘yung growth namin. And if it’s the only way to grow, then we should support it.”
