MANILA, Philippines — Filipino actress and TV host Anne Curtis admitted she felt sad that Korean star Park Bo Gum’s fan meet in Manila, which she was supposed to host on April 27, was postponed to a later date due to the recent earthquakes in the Philippines.

“S’yempre maraming nalungkot, but if you look at Park Bo Gum’s official statement, coming from him and how concerned he is for the Philippines, how he was praying for us, he genuinely understands it’s for everyone’s safety kasi daming earthquakes na nangyayari as in we had the big one and the next day, there’s another one,” Anne said in an interview with the press following her launch as new Belo Thermage FLX endorser last Wednesday night.

On Wednesday morning, Anne tweeted her excitement for the script for the fan meet titled, “Good Day in Manila.”

Hours after her tweet, however, Park announced that his fan meeting in Manila has been postponed to June 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“I apologize to all who have been waiting for the event and ask for your kind understanding,” said the actor, who rose to fame for his portrayal of a genius Ba Duk player in the Korean cable series "Reply 1988." — Video by Erwin Cagadas Jr.
