What's next for Liza Soberano? Manager reveals projects after ‘Darna’ exit
MANILA, Philippines — After her much talked about withdrawal from the movie “Darna,” Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano have two upcoming projects: a teleserye and a movie with on- and off-screen partner Enrique Gil.
Liza’s manager Ogie Diaz confirmed it via ABS-CBN’s entertainment reporter MJ Felipe.
“JUST IN: Ogie Diaz revealed that, after withdrawing from the Darna project, Liza Soberano will be doing a teleserye and a movie with Enrique Gil,” MJ wrote on his Twitter account on April 6.
The upcoming teleserye will be the fourth team up of Liza and Enrique on TV after the success of “Forevermore,” “Dolce Amore” and “Bagani.”
Their fourth movie “Alone/Together” reached $350 million in the box office.
In an interview with Philstar.com and other members of the media last March, Enrique said there is no reason to follow suit on love teams breaking up to pair with other celebrities.
"If other love teams going that separate ways, parang we really don't need to follow. I mean the trend, it really depends on us. I'm open naman to work in solo projects pero to work with other people and break the love team right now, I don't think it's good. I don't really feel it right now," Enrique said.
