WATCH: Beyonce's new Netflix documentary is out
"Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé" will launch globally on Netflix, April 17.

MANILA, Philippines — Online streaming giant Netflix dropped the official trailer of Beyoncé's new documentary on Monday evening.

Her "Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé" presents an intimate look at the pop star's historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America's historically black colleges and universities. 

Interspersed with candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision, the documentary also traced the emotional road from creative concept to cultural movement.

"Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé" will launch globally on Netflix, April 17.
