Kathryn Bernardo on Alden Richards: Genuinely nice, passionate
MANILA, Philippines — Last March, film studio Star Cinema has announced that Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and Kapuso actor Alden Richards will team up in a movie to be directed by blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina and will be released this year.
In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com during the launch of her Generation Happy Skin Active makeup line last Saturday, Kathryn revealed that she and Alden are set to shoot in Hong Kong for a month.
She revealed that she and Alden have not yet spent more time together. The first and only time she has met him was during the look test for their characters in the film.
Nonetheless, Kathryn can already speak volumes about Alden.
“So far, I find him really, really nice and genuine. Genuinely nice talaga, kaya excited ako talaga kasi nakita ko ‘yung passion n’ya sa acting, hunger n’ya to learn,” she enthused.
“Excited ako kasi nirerespect n’ya rin si DJ, saka inaalalayan n’ya rin ako, alam n’ya kasi na first time naming magkatrabaho. That’s very important. Happy ako!” — Video by Kat Leandicho
