Bruises on knees: Angel Locsin's viral photos worry netizens
MANILA, Philippines —Is Angel Locsin putting herself in harm’s way again?
Many netizens have shown concern for the actress after she shared photos of her bruised knees in a Facebook post on Thursday.
“Baby naman, kakasampa ko lng dto sa barko, kabilin bilinan ko sayo na mag iingat ka, yung barko nga inaalagan ko, ayaw ko magasgasan tapos ikaw na mahal ko nagasgasan lng.. pls baby keep safe alang ala sa future natin. Milya milya man layo natin sa isat isa babalikan kita pag finish contract na,” one of the most popular comments on the post said.
While many commented as if Angel was their girlfriend or ex, some expressed gratitude for the actress for her dedication to her job.
“Saludo po aq sa inyo mam Angel Locsin . ang galing nio mag suot ng uniform ng AFP na paka Snappy! kami po lahat ng Reservist dito sa Cavite ay hanga sa inyo galing sa Action bilang isang Artista baka po pwede iparating ninyo sa ating mahal na pangulo Duterte na ma tulungan ang mga Reservist na nag lilingkod sa bayan kahit walang sahod at kapos pa sa uniform,” a netizen said.
“GANYAN ang wla kaarte Arte artista wla sya paki alm kung mgsugat man sya or mgpakapasa..we lab you ms.angel locsin,” another fan said.
“Oh my!! Thanks for all the efforts! We appreciate all the hard work but make sure you are safe always,” added another.
Some netizens presumed the bruises were from doing her own stunts in her nightly action-drama series, “The General’s Daughter.”
In a previous interview with Philstar.com, Angel said that though she already suffered from a spine injury that prevented her from reprising the role of Filipino superheroine Darna, she would really insist on doing her own stunts for “The General’s Daughter,” but with caution and less intensity as before.
“Ingat-ingat na lang talaga hindi na katulad noong dati, ‘yung ganong kalikot. Ngayon, after ng ilang eksena, ice packs. May mga fight scene din kasi kami doon e,” she shared.
Angel added that her therapy is ongoing, so she makes it sure to undergo physical therapy before doing a fight scene.
“Ongoing parin siya para i-ready ko lang ‘yung katawan ko. Para ‘pag alam kong mayron akong mabigat na fight scene, gabi pa lang nagpapa-PT na ‘ko para walang problema."
