Justin Bieber asks prayers for ‘struggles’
MANILA, Philippines — International pop star Justin Bieber asked his fans for prayers as he revealed that he has been struggling a lot lately.
In his Instagram account, the 25-year-old singer posted a photo of him with rapper Kanye West and manager Scooter Braun praying together.
“Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird,” Justin wrote.
“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on..” he added.
Justin, however, did not specify the source of his struggles.
After a rollercoaster romance, Justin and model Hailey Baldwin got married last September.
In an interview with Vogue last February, Justin revealed his personal battles during his 2017 tour for his album “Purpose.”
"I was lonely,'' he said. "I needed some time. I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed. My mom always said to treat women with respect. For me that was always in my head while I was doing it, so I could never enjoy it. Drugs put a screen between me and what I was doing," he said.
He and his wife also talked about the challenges of being married. "The thing is, marriage is very hard. That is the sentence you should lead with. It’s really effing hard. It’s just that I’m fighting to do this the right way, to build a healthy relationship," Justin said.
