Jolo Revilla bares relationship with beauty queen Angelica Alita
MANILA, Philippines — After over a month of speculations, actor-politician Jolo Revilla revealed that he and Binibining Pilipinas 2016 first runner-up Angelica Alita are in a romantic relationship.
On Thursday, Jolo posted a photo of them together on Instagram for his Valentine’s Day greeting to his girlfriend.
“Angel, happy valentine's day! Totoong masaya ang puso ko ngayon because I have you in my life. You've been caring, loving and supportive to me. I love you and will always will,” the actor said.
For her part, Angelica posted as Instagram story the flowers she received as a surprise Valentine’s Day gift from the Cavite vice governor.
“I got a little confused when I saw you running towards the door, the only time I saw you run that fast was when you heard the binatog vendor pass by. May pasabog ka pala. Thank you bebi. Happy valentine's day. @jolo_revilla," the beauty queen wrote.
Speculations about the pair's relationship arose when Angelica attended the birthday celebration of Jolo’s son, Gab. Jolo posted a photo of the celebration with Angelica being the only guest of the Revilla family.
Reports said that Angelica was the former girlfriend of Sen. Grace Poe’s son, Brian Poe Llamanzares.
Jolo, meanwhile, had an on- and off-relationship with Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria for six years before Angelica.
