'True ba?': Ogie Diaz asks netizens about John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen Adarna's rumored wedding

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya host Ogie Diaz asked his followers about the rumored wedding of on leave Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz and his girlfriend Ellen Adarna. 

In his Facebook account, Ogie said he’s happy for his former co-actors in the sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” if the rumor that the couple tied the knot last December 23 is true.

“Ikinasal na daw sina Ellen at JLC nung Dec. 23 kasabay ng binyag ng anak nila? True ba? #HappyForThem. #IfTrue,” Ogie wrote.

According to previous reports, Ogie played “cupid” in Ellen and John Lloyd's blossoming romance on the set of the said sitcom. The veteran host was John Lloyd’s boss in the show. 

Since John Lloyd filed an indefinite leave from showbiz in October 2017 and left the sitcom, Ogie’s character was also omitted. 

Last Christmas, netizens were looking for John Lloyd in Ellen’s family photos because the actor was noticeably missing in them. 

John Lloyd and Ellen have been in showbiz hiatus for over a year now and are yet to release a statement on a possible comeback. 

Ellen gave birth to their son last June as confirmed by her lawyer. She is still facing a child abuse and cybercrime case filed by the mother of the teenage girl she accused as a “paparazzi.”
