WATCH: Maine Mendoza shares what she discovered about Coco Martin

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza shared that their Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles” is now done shooting.

In a recent interview with the media, including Philstar.com, at the sidelines of a Maxi-Peel Zero event where she is the new endorser together with Marian Rivera, Maine said she is so excited to watch their movie.

“Sobrang excited kasi kakatapos lang ng shoot namin noong Sunday at super excited na ako personally to see the movie kasi eto 'yong sobrang cliche man pakinggan pero pinaghirapan din talaga,” Maine said.

This is Maine’s first time to work with “Ang Probinsyano” star Coco Martin, and the actress said she discovered that the actor is “so gentleman.”

“Marami akong na-discover sa kanya kasi first time ko lang to work with him and sobrang bait niya, sobrang gentleman niya. Nakakatuwa kasi hindi niya ko tinrato na parang iba kahit bago ko sa showbiz at taga-syete ako, hindi niya ko tinratong iba,” she said.  

Maine hopes to have more projects with Coco in the future, especially, a genuine action film.

“For some reason, na-enjoy ko siya. And sana hindi pa ito ‘yung last at sana makagawa talaga ko ng legit action films,” she said.
