Maymay Entrata gets starstruck by Dingdong Dantes, punches Edward Barber

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata admitted that she felt surreal upon meeting Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes for the first time in the set of “Fantastica.” 

Speaking before the media during the press conference of the movie held in ABS-CBN, Maymay’s onscreen partner Edward Barber revealed that the young actress even punched him when she saw the Kapuso star. 

“Si Maymay nagulat lang siya, sumigaw, tapos sinuntok niya ‘ko!” Edward complained. 

Maymay confessed she was starstruck by Dingdong and even asked him to take a photo with her.

“Pagdating ko sa set nagha-hi ako kila direk Barry, sa mga staff, ‘hello po, hello.’ Tapos nakatalikod kasi si Sir Dingdong, sabi ni Sir Barry, si ano yan (Dingdong) sabi ko, ‘Ay hello sir, papicture po ako.’ Tapos ayun nagpapicture na ko kay sir. Ang bait niya,” Maymay explained. 

With over 10 big celebrities in the cast of “Fantastica,” Maymay admitted it took her a while to blend with her co-actors in the set.

“Ang pinakamemorable sa akin ay bago kami sumalang sa eksena, sabi ni Miss Vice, ‘Nakakapagod, laro tayo.’ May pamaypay siya tapos ‘yung pamaypay na ‘yun ginamit sa panglaro like iisipin namin kung ano pwedeng gamitin sa pamaypay,” she said. 

“Ang ibig ko lang pong sabihin ‘yung puntong yun, dun ako naging komportable sa kanila. Kasi ‘di ba ang hirap i-reach. Libre na tingin-tingin kila Sir Richard, Sir Dingdong. ‘Yung punto na ‘yun naging komportable kami kaya pagsalang, natural ‘yung tawanan,” she shared.
