Sharon Cuneta to eldest daughter KC Concepcion: Don’t waste second chance at love

MANILA, Philippines — “He’s perfect for her.”

That is what Sharon Cuneta thinks of Pierre Emmanuel Plassart, her eldest daughter KC Concepcion’s French boyfriend.

Thanks to Pierre, Sharon said her command of French is getting better “even if I nosebleed at times.”

Thanks to Pierre as well, Sharon welcomes the possibility of witnessing a marriage in the family and having grandchildren.

The lovebirds, she went on, have a language of their own. They look at each other, and burst out laughing.

“It’s amusing to see them together,” Sharon said at the presscon of Star Cinema’s “Three Words to Forever,” her comeback movie with former flame, Ormoc City mayor Richard Gomez.

But even then, KC is not rushing into marriage. She is just enjoying every minute with her boyfriend.

“I want to teach him Tagalog” Sharon giggly said of KC’s boyfriend.

KC is the only child Sharon raised on her own after she and the former’s father, Gabby Concepcion, parted ways.

KC has since grown up to be independent, sometimes too independent to the point that Sharon sometimes wishes she can be more like her younger siblings, Frankie, Miel and Miguel, who need their mom more.

Speaking of KC (real name: Kristina Cassandra), Sharon has observed that she and her two female “Three Words to Forever” co-stars Kathryn Bernardo and Liza Lorena are named Cristina in the film. They come from three different generations. Sharon is Cristina, Liza is Tinay and Kathryn is Tin.

“Three Words to Forever” is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
