MANILA, Philippines — When “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez left GMA, netizens are wondering who will sing the Kapuso Christmas station ID.

As one of the biggest stars of the Kapuso network, Marian Rivera is among those being nominated by netizens to sing the TV network’s Yuletide season ID, as evidenced by the actress’ recent trending resurfaced video showing her singing Rihanna’s orginal song, “Unfaithful.”

In an interview with Philstar.com during the recent launch of Kultura X Marian pearl collection especially designed by the actress, GMA 7’s “Primetime Queen” jokingly said she is willing to do the chore.

“Hahaha. Kanta gusto nila? Why not?” Marian told Philstar.com when asked for a comment.

Marian, however, said she still does not know who will be officially singing the network’s station ID.

“Wala akong idea. Basta ako artista lang ako ng GMA at siguro mahirap din maki-involve sa ganyang issues lalo na ‘pag medyo mabigat,” she said.

She also stressed that she is not the network’s last-standing biggest star.

“Hindi naman. Marami pa ring star ang GMA,” she said.

Marian is currently pregnant with her second child with Dingdong Dantes. She said she is already in her second trimester.

“Well, compared kay Zia, medyo mahirap ‘to ng konti,” she said.

Her husband Dingdong decided not to run in the midterm elections to take care of his family now that Marian is pregnant.
