Alden Richards reacts to Maine Mendoza’s rumored romance with Arjo Atayde

MANILA, Philippines — With photos of Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza and Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde circulating online, the former’s onscreen partner Alden Richards expressed his support to the alleged blossoming romance between the two.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Alden said it is better to leave Maine and Arjo alone and let them be happy.
“Ako, siguro po sa mga taong involved sa buhay po ng ibang tao, siguro mas okay na lang po siguro na just leave them alone, let them be happy kung ano man ang gusto nilang gawin,” the “Victor Magtanggol” star said.
“Kung saan po siya masaya, nandoon din po ako. And I’m sure, ganun din po ang suporta niya sa akin. Sana po, ganun na lang. Let them be happy,” he added.
His onscreen partnership with Maine, popularly known as “AlDub,” in the longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” has been phenomenal.
Alden said that that they failed their fans by not being romantically linked together in real life.
“Tao lang po kami. Hindi po kami robot na basta gusto ng karamihan, gagawin po namin,” he said.
Alden was romantically linked to Julie Anne San Jose, Bea Binene and Patricia Tumulak, while Maine was linked with Sef Cadayona and Juancho Trivino in the past.
