John Lloyd Cruz’s viral photo with Maja Salvador, handler sparks showbiz comeback rumors
MANILA, Philippines — Is John Lloyd Cruz making a showbiz comeback?
This has been the speculation of netizens after a Star Magic handler posted a picture of her with the actor and actress Maja Salvador.
On her Instagram account, the handler, Nenette Rustia, thanked John Lloyd for keeping in touch with her despite that the award-winning actor has been on indefinitely leave and has been choosing a more private life together with partner Ellen Adarna.
"Thank you for keeping in touch! Sana mas madalas dalas tayo magkita ngayon hindi lang sa txt Hahaha! alam mong mahal kita my panganay and im happy for what you have and for what you are now, andito lang ako hindi nagbabago kung anu ang pinagsamahan natin mula nuon hanggang ngayon! Love you anak! (panganay at bunso)"
In a recent interview with the media during the promotion of her movie “To Love Some Buddy” with Zanjoe Marudo, Maja confirmed that she, John Lloyd and Nenette saw each other.
“Na-miss niya ako!" Maja said of what JLC told her.
Nonetheless, Maja refused to reveal more details on why they met. She also declined to give an update about the actor.
"Sa akin na lang ‘yun. Nakita niyo naman kung gaano kaganda ‘yung aura niya ngayon. So he's very, very, very happy. Period," she said.
"Hindi naman lahat ng ganap ko sa mga kaibigan ko, kailangan ko i-post. As much as possible, ayaw kong magbigay ng detalye. I want to respect him. Gusto ko respetuhin ‘yung friendship na meron kami. ‘Yung trust na naibibigay sa akin," she added.
