MANILA, Philippines — If the name Papa P takes some getting used to, how much more difficult is it to be called “Lolo P”?

This is Piolo Pascual’s reaction to a hypothetical question on what he will do if his son Inigo, who is romantically linked to Maris Rascal (of the MarNigo love team), gives him (Piolo) a grandson someday.

“Having a baby is their choice,” Piolo told Philstar.com.  “As for me, I’m happy.”

Levity aside, Piolo advised the young couple to stay true to each other and nourish their love – if that is what they really feel for each other.

“Stay committed and open,” the actor and decade-long endorser of Sun Life Financial, added.

The giant financial services company also tapped Inigo as its brand ambassador (alongside Matteo Guidicelli and Enchong Dee, who are invited to Sun Cycle PH on Nov. 17 at Bonifacio Global City, and the Sun Life Resolution and Sun vs Stars events on Jan. 26, 2019 at Camp Aguinaldo).

Piolo and Inigo’s language of love is making time for each other, no matter how busy they are. Piolo appreciates how Inigo always checks on him and stays home with him at least once a week.

The same thing applies to Piolo, who always wants to find out how Inigo is doing.

Has he found the person he wants to bare his heart to for the rest of his life?

“My mother told me it’s okay to have a baby without  the benefit of marriage because I’m getting older,” Piolo revealed. “Good thing I’m a Christian.”
