MANILA, Philippines — What is the real score between Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde?

The two actors have been recently reportedly spotted to be dating, and even kissing, in restaurants in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Although pictures of the pair eating out have spread online, no proof yet has surfaced to show them actually kissing.

In a recent press conference launching Maine as Marian Rivera’s new co-endorser for skincare brand Maxi-Peel Zero, Maine might have not confirmed if she is dating Arjo or anyone, but she affirmed that she is open to having a boyfriend who also works in showbiz.

She also said that if ever she has or would have a boyfriend, she would not keep it a secret, but will try to be low-key about it as much as possible.

“Hindi naman secret. Pero mas okay na kung anong ginagawa n’yo, you keep it private. Kasi s’yempre mahirap, people will meddle eh. Parang ang dami nilang i-co-comment about sa buhay mo, about sa love life mo, so mas okay na kung private. Pero hindi naman ‘yung as in sikretong sikreto,” she said in an interview with the press following the launch.

During the press conference, Marian revealed that Maine has a lot of suitors. Maine said she just laughed at Marian’s revelation.

“Wala naman!” said Maine when the press squeezed her about her suitors.

She, however, admitted that she opens up to Marian about her love life.

The best advice she got from Marian, said Maine, is to enjoy everything that comes her way.

“Kung anong meron ako, kung anong dumating sa’kin, i-enjoy mo lang ‘yan,” Maine said of Marian’s advice. 

“Minsan ka lang mapupunta dito sa showbiz, minsan ka lang magiging bata, so i-enjoy mo lahat ng kung anong binibigay sa’yo.”  — Video by Kat Leandicho
