MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin recently gave an update on her upcoming series “The General’s Daughter” on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.

In an interview with the media during an Avon event, Angel said she will play a nurse in her new teleserye, where she will do some stunts. She assured that her spine is now becoming better.

After naman ng ilang procedure mukhang okay, okay naman na ‘ko,” Angel said when asked about her spine injury.

Ngayon, after ng ilang eksena, ice packs. May mga fight scene din kasi kami doon e,” she added.

Angel added that her therapy is ongoing, so she makes it sure to undergo physical therapy before doing a fight scene.

Angel will co-star with JC de Vera, Paulo Avelino, Tirso Cruz III and Albert Martinez in “The General’s Daughter,” a drama-action TV series rumored to replace Coco Martin’s “Ang Probinsyano” on ABS-CBN’s primetime lineup.

Angel has heard about the rumor, but she said, it is not yet confirmed whether “The General’s Daughter” will replace “Ang Probinsyano” or not.

I’m happy sa nangyari. Excited kaming lahat na mapanood ‘yung ganon,” Angel said.  — Video by Kat Leandicho
