Maymay Entrata supports Edward Barber’s first movie without her

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya young actor Edward Barber said that his MayWard love team partner Maymay Entrata is 100 percent supportive of his first film without her. 

At the recent press conference of his movie “First Love,” directed by Paul Soriano and also starring Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo, Edward said he was with Maymay when he first heard that he is doing the movie. 

“Maymay came up to me and she said ‘Kayang-kaya mo yan. I know you can do this’,” Edward recalled. 

Edward revealed that Maymay was supporting him even when they were not together while he was filming “First Love” in Canada. 

“When I was in Canada, we’re in Vancouver, there were some scenes where I have to go change, and when I’m changing I brought my phone with me. Maymay had sent me like a video message and she said

‘Watch this only when you’re freaking out, if you don’t freak out, don’t watch it.’ She was there every step of the way with me,” the teen star said.

Edward also acknowledged the whole cast and crew of the movie for supporting him in the project.

“All I can say about the movie is so far, I felt comfortable not really because of my own skills but because of Direk Paul, Kuya Aga, Ate Bea and the whole cast as well,” he said.
