Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta join forces to defend Ogie Alcasid from basher
MANILA, Philippines — “Asia’s Songbird” Regine Velasquez and “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta have joined hands to protect Ogie Alcasid from a netizen who accused the singer-songwriter of using his wife Regine to get projects.
In an Instagram post of Ogie where he showed a photo of him and Regine with friends, a netizen commented an accusation that the “It’s Showtime’s” “Tawag ng Tanghalan” judge is bringing Regine to the Kapamilya network to score more projects.
“Dahil wala kang career sa ABS at judge ka lang sa TNT kinaray ang asawa nya sa ABS para sa lahat ng project ni Regine kasama sya! Sobra sobrang panggagamit mo na kay Regine. Lahat ng shows nya sa US kasama ka! Lahat ng show lagi mo syang giniguest para lang hindi langawin ang shows mo at kumita! Ngayon isasama mo sya sa ABS para walang choice ang network kundi bigyan ka ng show! KAPAL DIN NG MUKHA MO NO? @ogiealcasid” the netizen commented.
Regine could not help but retaliate, asking the netizen what Ogie did to them to say those words.
“Gusto ko lang malaman ano po ba ginawa ng asawa ko sa inyo? Hindi po ako ginagamit ng asawa ko at kung ginagamit man nya ako EH ANO NAMAN ANG PAKIALAM MO DUN!!!!” Regine commented.

Also coming to Ogie’s rescue is Sharon.
“BAKIT TAYO ALAM NATIN LAHAT NA ISA NA SA MASTERS SA PAGGAWA NG KANTA SI OGIE NA KASUNOD NA NG MGA YAPAK NILA CANSECO, CRUZ, VALERA, Cayabyab, Ocampo, atbp? INSTITUTION NA SI OGIE SA INDUSTRIYA! Sorry pero tangengot na lang di nakakaalam non! Jusko nagpalpitate ako!” Sharon said.
The “Megastar” also noted that it is more annoying to see if the couple is not helping each other.
“At mas nakakatawa naman naman na mag-asawa kayo tapos di kayo nagtutulungan. Mas pangit yata kung iba ang kailangan niyo pang gamitin when you love and there for each other! Nakakaloka at at nakakasakit tala ng kalooban ang ibang tao! NAPAKARAMING NAGMAMAHAL SA INYO AT KAY NATE PATI SA PAMILYA NI MICHELLE AT SINA SARA AT LEILA. They can talk all they want pero hindi kayo mabubuwag!” she said.
