WATCH: Angel Locsin on seeing Vilma Santos at Mother Lily’s party
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin shared what really happened when she and “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos recently saw each other during movie patriarch Lily Monteverde’s birthday.
In an interview with the media during Angel’s lanch of her bag collection for Avon Fashions, Angel said she did not expect that the reunion will be captured by cameras.
“Okay naman po siya. Hindi ko ine-expect na makunan ng video, kasi pinagkakaguluhan talaga siya. Siyempre bigay pugay, umupo ako para hindi makita. Ayun lumabas siya. Mabait po kasi talaga si… nakita niyo naman sa video sobrang bait talaga niya at very gracious,” Angel said.
The actress, however, declined to reveal the details of her short conversation with the mother of her former boyfriend Luis Manzano to avoid gossip.
“Kinamusta niya ‘ko, ‘yun lang siguro puwede kong sabihin kasi baka maano pa e. Pero mabait talaga si tita. I’m very happy na nagkita kami uli,” Angel said.
Angel and Vilma starred in the Star Cinema movie “Everything About Her” in 2016.
That same year, Angel and Luis confirmed their separation. Luis then courted his current girlfriend Jessy Mendiola after the breakup.
