IN PHOTOS: Celebrity couples at ABS-CBN Ball 2018

MANILA, Philippines — Reel- and real-life couples did not fail to bring "kilig" to the first ever ABS-CBN Ball on Saturday at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson, and Pia Wurtzbach and Marlon Stockinger dispelled rumors that they have split by walking on the red carpet together.

Although already bound for Japan to perform as the Philippines' representative to an international music fest, Sarah Geronimo finally stepped out in the limelight with boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli. The two have finally made their red carpet debut as the real-life love team AshMatt.

New Kapamilya star Aljur Abrenica brought in Kapuso star and fiancee Kylie Padilla. Paralleling the couple's sweetness was Kylie's dad, Robin, and stepmom, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.

In addition to Kapamilya love teams MayWard, LizQuen, JoshLia, and KathNiel, JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre) also added excitement in their matching black outfits with kinky touches.

The celebration of friendship and togetherness was also made more exciting by the giving out of glam awards, including the Oppo Couple of the Night, which went to “Exes Baggage” stars Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban.

Jericho Rosales and Erich Gonzales, meanwhile, proved to be the fashion stand-outs as they took home the Metro Best Dressed Male and Metro Best Dressed Female awards, respectively.
