MANILA, Philippines — During Anne Curtis’ “Annekulit: Promise Last Na ‘To” concert at the Araneta Coliseum last Saturday, Anne’s first love team partner and former boyfriend Chubi del Rosario surprised her via a video message, congratulating the actress after Anne danced with a Shopee mascot.

According to Shopee, the original plan was Chubi was supposed to be the one in the mascot that danced with Anne and he was supposed to take off his costume to reveal himself and surprise the actress.

Anne and Chubi made headlines last 2016 when they reunited with their batch mates for the defunct teen-oriented TV series, “T.G.I.S.” Anne also posted a throwback photo of her with Chubi on Instagram.

Anne, the first Filipina ambassador of online shopping portal Shopee, marked her 21st anniversary in showbiz through the concert.

Before singing “Di Na Muli,” the official soundtrack of her film “Sid and Aya,” the big screen in the coliseum showed the different roles Anne portrayed in films through the years.

The star-studded concert also showed Anne having a showdown with Aegis, James Reid, Sarah Geronimo and Regine Velasquez.

But the night’s highlight was Anne serenading her husband Erwan Heussaff, who joined her on stage to give her a bouquet of flowers.

“That's my wife. Congratulations mon amour,” Erwan said of Anne’s concert on Instagram.
