May and June in 1970, four of the top models of Karilagan were in Hong Kong to showcase the collection of Casimiro Abad and Emil Valdez.

The models: Ping Valencia, Frannie Aguinaldo, Moni Locsin, Cynthia Cruz.

Venue of Karilagan ’70 was HK Rama Hotel, with Thai Airways as official carrier.

Behind the fashion show were Conchits Sunico (executive producer), Lucresia Urtula, Paz Lagdameo, Eula Viana. Annotator was Vic Diaz. — RKC
