MANILA, Philippines — Actress and TV host Solenn Heussaff does not mind being the last “it” girl in her group without a baby.

Nonetheless, she admitted that sometimes, she feels out of place whenever her friends start to talk about their babies.

“Oo, kaya ibang group ako ngayon,” Solenn said in a jest during a recent press interview following a Watsons Hair Goals event at SM Mall of Asia.

Sometimes, she spends time with her friends from the art world rather than with the “it” girls who have now turned into “it” moms.

“Pero I also like having a gap with my friends kasi ‘yung friends ko na may mga baby, ang pinaguusapan lang puro about baby. Gusto ko naman ‘yung ibang bagay sa buhay, no... Two hours lang with them, ayoko na.”

She, however, refuses to be left behind and just be called a “tita” by her “it” girl friends’ children.

“Yuck, I’m a tita na? Actually, when I shot the movie ‘My 2 Mommies,’ I was called a tita on the set. Ang sabi ko, ‘Wag mo ko tawagin na tita-tita. I’m Sos. You can call me Ate Sos!'”

Thus, she assured that she and husband Nico Bolzico will also have a baby soon.

“Ako, I’m very happy and thankful for the kids of my friends. Sana hindi malayo ‘yung mga agwat ng mga anak namin. They can be playmates ‘pag may party, ganun.”

She told the press, including Philstar.com, that she and Nico have been into family planning for two years and they have been putting off having a baby as they are building a house this year. She said that she and Nico have been content for having their cat and dog as babies, for a while.

She was happy to note that their new house is actually an old one they just renovated.

When asked who between her and her sister-in-law, Anne Curtis, would have a baby first, she said: “For sure ako, malayo pa sila (Erwan and Anne). They’re still into a lot of things. My brother’s still 31, so may time pa naman sila.”

Will she take a break to form a baby? “No! Kasya naman ‘yan sa gabi!” she chuckled.

Solenn recently defended Anne on social media after a netizen commented that Anne looks pregnant in a family photo posted by Solenn.

“No. I’m not pregnant. It’s just the angle. And also all the egg tarts I ate,” Anne told a netizen.

Solenn then added: “Even if you (are) saying cute things, (it’s) really a bad habit to (always) comment about people's weight. (It’s) always done in the Philippines by our (titas) and friends and has become (like) a ‘Hello’ in our society. (It’s) really not nice and not (proper). (Whether it’s) gaining or losing weight, people should stop. Really.”
