Aljur Abrenica: Kylie Padilla still Kapuso, no plans to be Kapamilya

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Aljur Abrenica just laughed when asked by Philstar.com if his fiancée, Kylie Padilla, will move with him in ABS-CBN from GMA, just as he did. Kylie’s dad, Robin, is also now a Kapamilya.

 

In an interview following the press con of his new soap opera “Asintado,” Aljur confirmed with a soft “yeah” that Kylie is still with GMA.

 

“Very soon,” he said when asked when Kylie will be back on the limelight.

 

He said that as of now, Kylie is still enjoying being a mother to their first born, Alas.

 

“I’m very happy being a Kapamilya,” Aljur disclosed. “I have new experiences at nakakatrabaho ko ‘yung mga hinahangaan kong artista.”

 

After months of disapproval from Robin Padilla, it looks like all is well now between Kylie’s dad and Aljur as the couple posted similar photos of their “pamamanhikan” or wedding planning dinner on their respective Instagram accounts.

 

Aljur posted a photo with his and Kylie’s families. The photo was captioned: “Wala ng mas mahalaga pa sa pamilya at siyempre sa ngiting ngayon ko pa lang nakita mula sa mga mahal ko. Salamat po sa mainit na pagtanggap.”

 

Kylie posted the same photo with the caption: “Marked,” signifying that everything is now okay with his dad and boyfriend, and it makes her happy, especially for their baby, Alas.

 

The Kapuso actress also posted on her Instagram story a photo of their family dinner. The photo has the hashtag #happiness and a video clip of Robin and Aljur playing with Alas.

 

To end the night, Kylie posted a photo together with Aljur and Robin and captioned it: “Goodnight, Xoxo,” followed by a photo of her that said: “In the end, it’s the happy moments that should mark your life.”

 

“Thank you, you’re a great mom. Hindi ka lang mahusay na nanay. Loving and understanding partner ka rin to me. I’m very lucky and very blessed. I couldn’t ask for more. So, sa mga fans ni Kylie…Hindi kayo nagkamali ng hinangaan,” Aljur told Philstar.com during the interview.
