Bela Padilla denies ‘romantic’ ties with Daniel Padilla, Zanjoe Marudo

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Bela Padilla speaks up on rumors linking her to fellow soap opera star Zanjoe Marudo and even to her own second cousin, Daniel Padilla.
In a recent interview with Philstar.com for her new movie “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” Bela stressed that she has been loveless for a year now.
“Timing is everything,” she said, and this also applies in her love life.
It can be recalled that Bela told “Tonight with Boy Abunda” that she was offended when netizens tried to link her to Daniel following her Instagram post showing her and her cousin in the same picture.
"They were pissed off that Daniel was in a picture with another girl…Parang they were putting color into it…Mag-pinsan kami, alam mo iyon?" she told the show’s host, Boy Abunda.
On February 7, she announced on her Instagram account that “Meet Me in St. Gallen,” in which she stars with Carlo Aquino, has been graded A unanimously by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
In May, she vows to return to the small, mountainous Swiss city of St. Gallen, reconnect with new friends there, revisit its breathtaking cathedral, stare once more at the painting that caught her fancy, and take in the chilly air again. Of course, she will also post lots of selfies in her social media accounts.
It will be one week of feeding the soul.
“I hope I meet someone (special) in St. Gallen. I think I’ll meet someone in St. Gallen,” Bela said while flashing a bright smile.
As she herself has learned, things will fall into place when you are ready. What will be, will be.
Bela hopes that when that time comes, a pleasant surprise will make her heart leap and somersault all over again.
