MANILA, Philippines — Jennylyn Mercado and JM De Guzman were recently launched as endorsers of a leading tech and innovations company.

As ambassadors of Acer Philippines, Jennylyn and JM shared a Christmas treat as they announced the brand's #MalayangPaskoHoliday campaign in partnership with retail giant SM's The SM Store, a shopping destination known for its wide range of products, wholly communicated by its tagline “We’ve got it all for you."

The holiday offering will run until December 31, during which every purchase of qualifying Windows-based Acer Aspire laptops, desktops, and AllInOnes will come with free The SM Store Exclusive Promotional Shopping Vouchers. Customers who present their SM Advantage Card, SM Prestige Cards, or BDO Rewards Card can enjoy 10 times more points whenever they redeem using their exclusive promotional voucher.

During the launch, up and coming artist Morissette Amon sang the Christmas favorite "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey.

Born and raised in Cebu, Morissette first rose to popularity when she became a runner-up in TV5's "Star Factor" at 14 years old. She then made her debut as a stage actress in 2012 for Repertory Philippines' production of Disney's "Camp Rock."

The following year, she competed in ABS-CBN's "The Voice of the Philippines" as a part of the team of pop star Sarah Geronimo. 

Today, Amon is a Star Music / Star Records recording artist. Her first self-titled album, Morissette, was released in 2015. She is also presently one of variety show ASAP's "Birit Queens."

In 2015, she was hailed as the New Female Recording Artist of the Year by the 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music and was also regarded as he Female Artist of the Year on M.O.R. Pinoy Music Awards in 2016. She had her first sold out solo concert at the Music Museum in 2016.
