Will Sarah Geronimo go with Matteo Guidicelli to Star Magic Ball?

MANILA, Philippines — In an interview with Philstar.com Thursday night during a product launch, actor Matteo Guidicelli said he is excited and looking forward to go to the Star Magic Ball in Makati Shangri-La on Saturday night.

Set to be styled by Bang Pineda, Matteo will definitely look dapper in an outfit designed by Joseph Aloysius.

But this year, will he come with his girlfriend Sarah Geronimo on his arm? Will they finally grant fans’ wish to see them together on the red carpet?

“No. I think she has prior commitments,” Matteo sadly reported.

In 2014, he told the press in a red carpet interview for the Star Magic Ball that he invited Sarah to be his date, but the singer-actress also had work that time.

He said his experience of the ball would be different if he and Sarah would walk as a couple.

Rumors have it that Sarah has been forbidden to go to the ball because she is not a Star Magic talent and that she and Matteo, fondly called by fans as AshMatt, might steal the spotlight from Star Magic love teams like KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla). These allegedly are also the same reasons why JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre) are not invited.

“Baka in the future, we’ll see,” Matteo hopingly enthused.
