MANILA, Philippines — International singer-actress Sandara "Dara" Park was a guest at fellow Korean pop (K-pop) superstar G-Dragon's concert in Manila last September 1 at the Araneta Coliseum.

During the concert, the two thanked each other and whispered sweet nothings before singing "Hello" in matching red costumes. Even in their social media posts, the two were very close, hugging and teasing each other in their backstage photos, with Dara even trying on G-Dragon's costumes. According to fans, Dara and G-Dragon used to call each other "baby."

Rumors of Dara and G-Dragon dating circulated on social media after videos show them cuddling after BigBang's concert last January 8. The rumors are further fanned by Dara's debut YouTube video for her newly launched DaraTV channel that featured G-Dragon's recent concert in Seoul. In the video, Dara even reportedly sent flowers to G-Dragon and stayed in a special spot as she enjoyed his concert.

In an interview, however, Dara said what they were doing in their videos are a "joke" and that she dislikes dating co-workers. Both Dara and G-Dragon are handled by YG Entertainment. CL, Dara's former band mate in the K-pop girl group 2NE1, was also romantically linked to G-Dragon.

Kwon Ji-Yong, better known by his stage name G-Dragon, is an iconic K-pop rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion icon. After six years as a trainee under YG Entertainment, he officially debuted as a member of the South Korean pop group BigBang. He has been involved in composing and producing many of BigBang's hits.

According to his fellow BigBang member, Seungri, who recently reportedly partied with Filipina actress Ellen Adarna in Bali, G-Dragon is bad at dating, which is why most of his compositions for BigBang are sad.

G-Dragon became the second member of BigBang to make a solo debut in Japan after his band mate, Daesung, launched a solo concert tour. In 2013, he embarked on his first worldwide tour as a solo artist, which included a four-dome tour in Japan, making him reportedly the first Korean soloist to do a dome tour.

Recognized as one of the most influential leaders in music and fashion in his country, G-Dragon was named by Forbes Asia as one of the Most Influential Person Under 30 in Eastern’s Entertainment and Sports. He is also an official endorser of global fashion house Chanel.

G-Dragon 2017 World Tour < ACT ?, M.O.T.T.E>, his second following the record-breaking "One of a Kind" tour in 2013, has been described as a showcase of the “loneliness and anguish hidden behind the glamorous life from his massive success," said the YG website.

M.O.T.T.E., which stands for "Moment Of Truth The End," aims to give a glimpse into the truth hidden behind the glamorous life that G-Dragon's massive success has brought him. It coincides with ACT III, the third phase of his career as he turned 30 this year. Manila was added to the list of cities in the world tour, the last for the BigBang leader before he joins the mandatory enlistment in the South Korean military next year.
