Anne Curtis’ ‘singer’ opinion on ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ finals

MANILA, Philippines — As a recording star with a sold-out concert at the Big Dome, Anne Curtis shares her “expert” opinion on the looming conclusion of a hit singing competition.

“Being the singer, there are times I disagree with the judges,” the “It’s Showtime” host recently declared in a press conference for “Tawag ng Tanghalan” (TNT) finals.

“I have favorites na nanghihinayang ako (because they did not make it to the finals), pero we speak with the rest of the nation when it comes to judging the contestants.”

TNT, ABS-CBN’s first singing competition revived by “It’s Showtime” last year, will culminate with its first grand finals this weekend. Anne serves as main host for the segment together with Vice Ganda and Amy Perez-Castillo.

Though Anne was joking about the "singer" part, she reiterated, “May platinum kaya ako!”
