MANILA, Philippines – Actor Edgar Allan Guzman took to social media his reactions against former actress, dancer and sex adviser Mocha Uson's recent sentiments on his work.

Uson, who is now a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), last Friday released a ten minute-video criticizing television networks and their programs, including “Ipaglaban Mo” and “The Better Half” for their “obscene” and “detailed” love and rape scenes. Edgar Allan is part of the drama anthology “Ipaglaban Mo” February 11 episode titled “Abuso.”

“Dapat angkop pa rin sa mga kabataan,” Mocha said of the TV shows, adding that sex scenes should not be graphic and detailed.

She said she would resign if these “inappropriate” scenes would not be removed from television.

In his Instagram account, Edgar Allan took offense on Mocha’s statement and responded to her criticisms.

Hindi ko matanggap na sabihin mong BASURA ang pinaghirapan naming episode ng IPAGLABAN MO,” the actor said.

Edgar Allan urged Mocha to follow MTRCB’s due process as a member of the board. She slammed the actress for taking her sentiments to social media and not consulting the production team and actors first.

Meanwhile, Mocha slammed media for highlighting her threatened resignation saying she will only resign if no change will occur in TV while in service as MTRCB board member.
