2016 Miss U stamps unveiled

MANILA, Philippines - Last Tuesday, Jan. 24, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PPC) unveiled and started selling to the public the 2016 Miss Universe commemorative stamp (far right) and souvenir sheet featuring the original stamps in honor of the country’s three Misses Universe — Gloria Diaz (1969) and Margie Moran (1973), both issued on May 5, 1994 when the Philippines hosted the pageant for the second time; and Pia Wurtzbach (2015), issued on April 17, 2016.

The stamps were designed by Rodine Teodoro, in denominations of P12 (Gloria), P17 (Margie) and P55 (Pia). The souvenir sheet costs P100.
