Bongbong Marcos walks Isabelle Daza down the aisle

MANILA, Philippines — Former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Saturday walked Isabelle “Belle” Daza down the aisle on her wedding day in Tuscany, Italy.

Contrary to speculations that she will be walking down the aisle with her mother, 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz, Belle, was escorted by her godfather, Marcos. Marcos took the place of  the late businessman and former Makati City Councilor Bong Daza, who passed away last July.

Marcos and Bong were good friends.

“In place of my good friend the late Bong Daza, the bride asked me to walk her down the aisle,” Marcos said in his Facebook account.

Marcos also expressed his best wishes to the newlyweds, Belle and Adrien Semblat, on social media.
