The question is, are we really going to sing the "Hymn For The Weekend" from dusk to dawn with them?
Apparently, it all started with a Facebook post from Globe Telecom's Head of Music Content, saying that indeed the band is scheduled to come here.
The post immediately went viral, being shared more than 700 times before she took down the post.

Although it was confirmed last year that the band will play in Asia, there are no confirmations from the band yet whether they are really setting foot in Manila.

However, CNN Philippines reported that a brand manager of a telecommunications company already confirmed that they are sponsoring the event, but there are no details yet as to when and where.
The band which is currently on tour for their seventh album was formed in 1996 - led by vocalist and pianist Chris Martin with Jonny Buckland on lead guitar, Guy Berryman on bass guitar and Will Champion on drums.
