Fil-Swedish, Fil-Canadian named 2016 Century Tuna Superbods

MANILA, Philippines – Far right: Fil-Swedish Tom Esconde and Fil-Canadian Olivia Medina (former girlfriend of Rafael Rosell) were named 2016 Century Tuna Superbods Sunday night at the Palace Pool Club in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). Each got P500,000 cash.

They are shown with the first runners-up, Fil-German Clint Bondad and Ambra Gutierrez (rightmost in photo at right), who got P250,000 each; and second runners-up Chet Abella and Fil-Iranain Ali Khatibi, P100,000 each.

The 26 finalists went through workshops under fashion director Robby Carmona, sports and fitness coach Jim Saret, nutritionist Nadine Tengco, stylist Lourd Ramos and yoga instructor Bubbles Paraiso.

Carmela Fernandez and Jake Khan were voted Ms. and Mr. Congeniality; Cassie Umali and Andrew Aurellano won the Superbod Challenge; and Kaara Tan and Pio Luz won the People’s Choice award.

The judges were Century Pacific Foods, Inc. general manager Greg Banzon; former Century Tuna endorser Gloria Diaz; fashion editor/stylist Liz Uy; basketball star Jeron Teng; Mediaquest/TV5 president/CEO Noel Lorenzana; Intelligent Skincare Inc./Belo Medical Group managing director Cristalle Belo Henares; and PC&V Communications president/CCO and Ariel Comia.
