Kapuso Network holds star-studded trade event

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network through its Marketing and Productions Group hosted a star-studded thanksgiving party for its clients, advertisers and agency partners last Feb. 10 to welcome the New Year.

Pure excitement and entertainment filled the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La as GMA officers and top Entertainment and News and Public Affairs personalities came to celebrate with the Network’s esteemed partners from the trade.

Leading the celebration was GMA’s top management headed by its chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, president and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., EVP and CFO Felipe Yalong, and chief marketing officer Lizelle Maralag.

The evening was made more memorable with the presence of some of the brightest Kapuso stars such as Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Michael V., Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista, Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza, Tom Rodriguez, Carla Abellana, Megan Young, Eugene Domingo, Gabby Concepcion, Raymart Santiago, Rhian Ramos, Solenn Heussaff, Iya Villania, Camille Prats, Jean Garcia, Donita Rose, Kris Bernal, Glaiza de Castro, Mark Herras, Yasmien Kurdi, Janine Gutierrez, Mikael Daez, Rocco Nacino, Benjamin Alves, Sen. Tito Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas.

Also present were Aljur Abrenica, Julie Anne San Jose, Kylie Padilla, Max Collins, Sef Cadayona, Jackie Rice, Andrea Torres, Barbie Forteza, Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, Kristoffer Martin, Thea Tolentino, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Ruru Madrid, Gabbi Garcia, Louise delos Reyes, Ken Chan, Kiko Estrada, Jake Vargas, Enzo Pineda, Bettinna Carlos, Winwyn Marquez, Sheena Halili, Martin del Rosario, Fabio Ide, Ervic Vijandre, Jeric Gonzales, Joyce Ching, Maricris Garcia, Pancho Magno, Dion Ignacio, Chris Tiu, Chef Boy Logro, Ina Feleo, Hiro Peralta, Rafa Siguion-Reyna, Juancho Triviño, Klea Pineda, Migo Adecer, Ayra Mariano, Elyson de Dios, Jillian Ward, Miggs Cuaderno, Jerald Napoles and Stephanie Sol.

Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, Rhea Santos, Pia Arcangel, Connie Sison, Nathaniel “Mang Tani” Cruz and Luanne Dy of GMA News and Public Affairs, the country’s most trusted and most awarded broadcast news organization, also graced the occasion.

 

 

 

 

The event proved to be a unique Kapuso experience from start to finish as guests were treated to a show-stopping performance by Aicelle Santos, along with an exciting preview of programs that will soon be shown on the country’s premier free-to-air channel.

The network also put together a special edition of the pop culture phenomenon, Lip Sync Battle, for its partner agencies. Finalists of the activity were Zenith Optimedia, Carat, Touch BPN, Starcom Mediavest, Universal McCann, AQ Advertising, M.E.C., One:Manila and the grand winner was Mediaforce Vizeum Philippines. The network recently acquired the rights to produce a local adaptation of the highly-popular US program, which will air on GMA beginning Feb. 27 hosted by Michael V. and Iya Villania.

GMA also recognized the remarkable traits and accomplishments of its trade partners in the first Kapuso Fun Awards. Over P3M worth of prizes including three brand-new cars were also raffled off throughout the event with comedians Betong Sumaya and Boobay serving as hosts. Photos by Ver Paulino
