Toni Gonzaga wants to be the 'best wife’ in 2016

MANILA, Philippines – Toni Gonzaga’s goal this 2016 is to be the “best wife” for husband Paul Soriano.

“I claim to be the best wife on 2016,” she said in an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” together with Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzalez on Friday.

“Kasi parang better lang ako ng 2015,” she added, explaining her statement. “Nando’n pa ako sa transition stage, e. Mahirap siya kasi I’m still getting used getting detached to the things I got used to.”

Toni and Paul tied the knot in June 2015, and now six months married.

As for their plans to have a baby, Toni said she doesn’t want to plan it.

“I’ve realized na all of your plans sometimes hindi naman always natutupad talaga, e,” she said. “Many are the plans in a man’s heart but it’s always their purpose that prevails. So ako feeling ko, wherever life will lead me and take me, ‘yon na lang siguro.”
