Hollywood-themed shower for Heart

The bridal gown (by Monique Lhuillier?) is almost done and so are the rest of the preparation, including a pre-nup that the soon-to-be-wed couple has mutually agreed upon.

On Feb. 15, a day after her birthday, Heart Evangelista and Sen. Chiz Escudero will be wed in Balesin Island in Quezon with only 100 guests including principal and secondary sponsors. A reception in Manila will be held the next day to accommodate those who cannot be in the exclusive wedding venue.

Last Tuesday, Heart was surprised with a Hollywood-themed shower by Startalk, the Saturday GMA show that she co-hosts with Joey de Leon, Lolit Solis, Butch Francisco and your Funfarer. Heart was clueless about the well-kept plan.

Held at Fernbrook Gardens, the event was hosted by Tim Yap and Tessa Prieto-Valdes, graced by GMA executives led by SVP/Entertainment TV head Lilybeth Rasonable, and Heart’s friends Lovi Poe, Alessandra de Rossi, Carla Abellana, Iza Calzado, Donita Rose, Kylie Padilla, Rhian Ramos and Bibeth Orteza, and Heart’s Glam Team, her sister Cam Ongpauco, Sen. Cynthia Villar and daughter Camille, and Chiz’s sister Dette Quirante.

Heart was teary-eyed as her friends delivered their gifts and messages. Kris Lawrence dedicated the song All Of Me to her.

Guests cheered the couple right on as Chiz kissed Heart.
