Marvin Agustin, Jolina Magdangal together again in ABS-CBN?

MANILA, Philippines - Marvin Agustin is back with where he started, in ABS-CBN, and there are rumors that he might be reunited with his long lost onscreen partner, Jolina Magdangal in the Kapamilya network.

Marvin will be part of the remake of the '80s hit drama series "Flor de Liza," where he might work again with Jolina.

The old drama series will replace the daytime series, Be Careful With My Heart," which will end in November.

“Naging emotional ako, e, no’ng tumungtong ako sa first day namin which was yesterday (Tuesday) for a soap opera here, Flor de Liza,” he said in an interview with Boy Abunda in “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Wednesday.

When asked why he got emotional, Marvin explained: “Sinasabi ko naman lagi, ABS changed my life. Talagang ang daming nangyaring maganda sa akin when ABS discovered me. I was only 17.”

The final cast of the upcoming drama series has yet to be confirmed.While Marvin is waiting for the full shoot of the drama series, he is busy promoting “Moron 5.2: The Transformation” where he stars with Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Matteo Guidicelli, John “Sweet” Lapus and Dj Durano.

The movie will be in cinemas on November 5.

Meanwhile, aside from being an actor, Marvin is also a successful restaurateur together with his friends.

He admits that restaurant business is not easy, yet being in the business industry is nothing new to him.

“Before naman po ako nag-artista I was a waiter already. But before that I was already in the business helping my mom selling anything in our neighborhood like longganisa, tocino, name it,” he recalled. “So hindi bago sa akin ang pagnenegosyo.”

Now, Marvin could say that he’s living a comfortable life and have invested wisely. He’s also happy to see his 9-year-old twin sons growing up, and were part of De La Salle’s baseball team.

Although there will always be down times in his life, “that’s where we learn. Dyan tayo pinaka natututo for more experiences.”
