IN PHOTOS: Couples, love teams at Star Magic Ball 2014

MANILA, Philippines – Real-life sweethearts Gerald Anderson and Maja Salvador and love team Xian Lim and Kim Chiu were among standout tandem at the 8th Star Magic Ball 2014 on Saturday, September 6.
 
Kim Chiu, who attended the event with on-screen partner Xian Lim, was elegant in her backless Patricia Santos gown. Xian, likewise, looked very dapper in his black Francis Libiran suit.
 
 
Gerald and Maja were also a stunning pair. The actor's classic black Dolce and Gabbana suit complimented the actress' white gown. 
 
 
The 8th Star Magic Ball also marks the first time Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones and Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros attended the event as husband and wife. 
 
 
 
Just like last year, singer-actor Sam Concepcion graced the Star Magic Ball with girlfriend and TV5 star Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo also attended the event together.
 
 

 
One of the red carpet scene-stealers was comedian Chokoleit, who arrived at the event with an unusual date: a standee of comedienne Pokwang, who is currently out of the country.
 

 
Other love teams and real-life couples who attended the 8th Star Magic Ball include Piolo Pascual and Iza Calzado, Jason Abalos and Vickie Rushton, and Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion.
