Rhodora X airs finale episode Friday

MANILA, Philippines - For the past four months, viewers have been glued to their TV screen as they follow Kapuso drama series Rhodora X, topbilled by Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Mark Herras and Yasmien Kurdi.

Rhodora X has won the hearts of many as it presents an edgy theme, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), and its effects on the victims’ lives and those around them. 

Jennylyn, Yasmien, Mark, Mark Anthony and Martin del Rosario share their unforgettable experiences while doing the series. For Jennylyn, it was a new challenging assignment as she plays the role Rhodora, the woman who suffers from DID. “For me, most unforgettable is portraying three different roles in one scene (Rhodora, Roxanne and Rowena). Very challenging siya at hindi ko talaga ito makakalimutan,” she said.

For Mark, portraying Joaquin Vasquez is challenging, “Usually, kasi sa mga roles na ginampanan ko hindi ko nahihiwalay yung Mark Herras, dito nagawa ko,” Mark said.  Mark Anthony, on the other hand, said he is thankful to GMA for giving him the Nico role, adding that he grew closer with co-stars Jennylyn, Mark and Yasmien.

“Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the real owners of the mansion, themselves cooked and served us all those special sausages, patties, meats and vegetables which they got abroad,” shared Yasmien. “It became a huge barbecue party and we were so touched with their generosity and kindness. I have never encountered any owner of a house or location whose hospitality is being extended to crew and staff.”

Meanwhile, Martin had his fair share of memories. “Rhodora X was indeed an unforgettable experience, especially for me who just transferred to GMA. I always feel welcomed by everybody and I will miss everyone for sure.”

Now as Rhodora X is down to its final week, viewers can expect twists and turns in the lives of Rhodora, Angela, Joaquin, Nico and Martin.

Will Rhodora overcome her illness? Will there be reconciliation between her and Angela? Will their families find peace?

Rhodora X airs its finale episode tomorrow, after Kambal Sirena on GMA Telebabad.
