FORUM: What stars are planning for Christmas

MANILA, Philippines – What will our celebrities be up to this Christmas season?

Just like most of us, stars spend the holiday season to unwind, bond with their families and loved ones, and indulge on the simple stuff—from staying at home to just enjoying a simple Noche Buena on Christmas Eve.

Philstar.com asked some celebrities what they are planning to do this Christmas:

Julia Montes: “Sa bahay lang, quality time. And hindi lang family ko kasama ko this Christmas. Ita-try ko rin i-invite yung kapatid ng mama, yung family nila. Kumbaga, big family kami sa bahay para lang din ma-ano na, ‘Hi, may tao sa bahay’.”

“Kasi minsan, walang tao, busy lahat. So para lang maiba yung pasko saka maganda ang salubong sa bagong taon.”

KC Concepcion: “Meron po akong candy-inspired Christmas tree na fresh Christmas na pinasok sa condo ko (given by Paulo Avelino). And our Christmas noche buena is Spanish-inspired.”

Sam Milby: “Well, my mom and my dad, pupunta sila dito. So spend time with my family this Christmas, and spend time with my sister. We want to spend New Year in Boracay for the first time.”

Camille Prats: “For Christmas, I’ll be spending it with my family in our house sa South. That’s basically it. Christmas kasi, it’s just the time when we relax and get together as a family, have a feast and eat whatever we want, sleep whenever we can. Ganun lang, simple lang.”

Dimples Romana: “We plan sana to leave the country. But if hindi matuloy, dito lang kami so we can celebrate a traditional Paskong Pinoy.”

Chito Miranda: “I think nasa Dubai kami ng Christmas. Kasama namin ang Eraserheads (for a concert). So bawal na sila (Parokya ni Edgar band members) mag-plano for Christmas.”

Ritz Azul: “Yearly may ginagawa kaming maliit na program sa amin sa Pampanga. Nagpo-promo kami, namimigay kami ng isang sako ng bigas, yung mga kitchen utensils.”
 
“Ginagawa ko na siya hindi pa ako artista. Nag-start siya birthday ko na namimigay naman sa mga bata ng pagkain. Eventually lumaki, nakaisip yung mga tita ko, tito ko na mag-program. Ginagawa kasi namin New Year tsaka birthday ko, twice yun.”
