Sen. Sonny Angara hosts thanksgiving lunch

MANILA, Philippines - First-termer Sen. Sonny Angara was the first among the dozen senatoriables (all winners) supported by Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde (right) to host a thanksgiving lunch for the movie press yesterday at the function room of Imperial Palace Suites. ‘The support of the movie press means so much to me,’ said Sen. Sonny who came with his wife Tootsy Echauz (left, who’s with the marketing department of ABS-CBN). Among Sen. Sonny’s pet projects is the scholarships for poor but deserving students.
