The Glo-Co Celebrity Endorsers

Long before the current beauty products flooded the market, in the ‘40s-‘50s there was Glo-Co Hollywood beauty products  manufactured and distributed by Cromwell Cosmetic Export Company, Inc., later named Cromwell Commercial Company, with celebrities as endorsers, some of whom became Camay Girls of the ‘50s (featured in Funfare middle of last year).

Here is a gallery of Glo-Co print ads from September 1948 (Jose Padilla Jr. and Lilia Dizon) to March 1951 (Gloria Romero identified by her real surname Galla), complete with beauty tips (again prepared by Funfare’s “other beauty expert” Celso de Guzman Caparas):
