SM Cinema ties up with FDCP
MANILA, Philippines - The Filipino audience will soon enjoy more independent films under the Philippine Cinematheque Partnership Program, which was made possible by the recently-signed agreement between SM Cinema and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). Under the program, SM Cinema will exhibit films programmed and curated by the FDCP with waived ticket fees or at reasonable prices. Beginning last Sept. 14, SM Cinema became the first cinema exhibition circuit to convert 100 percent of its theaters to digital.
