Myrus shoots MTV with Angelica

The Philippine Star

Myrus pays tribute to the beauty of Angelica Panganiban in the launching music video of his debut album titled Love Cycle.

The 18-year-old pop R&B singer expressed excitement in collaborating with Angelica for the video of Laging Ikaw which was shot at the Lakeshore Estate in Pampanga.

In the video, Myrus plays Angelica’s admirer who is committed in getting the attention of the actress, no matter what it takes — be it crashing on a waiter in a coffee shop, pretending to be a wheelchair-bound senior, or working as a delivery boy. After a series of hilarious acts, fate managed to bring the two together.

After almost a year of preparations, Myrus will release Love Cycle under Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Philippines ) next week.

Love Cycle carries nine original tracks that talk about love and two bonus tracks including the minus one of Laging Ikaw and its music video. It features composers Ransib Bisnar, couple Celeste and Roberto Gados, Sherwin Castillo, Chris Cahilig and Jonathan Ong.

Laging Ikaw is regularly played on 91.5 Energy FM, 102.7 Star FM, 90.7 Love Radio and 101.1 Yes FM.

A Communication Arts junior from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Cavite, Myrus is managed by Chris Cahilig Consultancy (with tel. nos. 706-3373, 0921-4446914 or 0920-9797922.)

Myrus has a wide range of musical influences that include both local and foreign artists. He can sing standard, pop, classic and R&B.

Myrus endorses Fern-C non-acidic Vitamin C, FernSlim and Dental First.
