DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Thousands of students are set to benefit from Edukasyon, the leading education technology startup in the Philippines, following the official launch of its Minda-nao-based operations here in over the weekend.

Edukasyon is considered to be a unique technology platform  helping more than one  million students each month find the path to their potential, through its services and guidance around education, career and life decisions.

The expansion of its operations to Mindanao allows the company to actively engage with Mindanaoan youth as well as its growing network of educational and institutional partners.

Over 20 schools in the south, including Ateneo de Davao University, University of the Immaculate Conception and Philippine Women’s College of Davao, have already joined Edukasyon’s community of more than 500 schools locally and abroad.

Gian Carlo Tancontian, promotions manager at Ateneo de Davao University, shared his experience in partnering with Edukasyon, noting that up to 40 percent of incoming student applications from February to May were coursed through the online platform.

“In 2018 alone, more than two million students from Mindanao visited the Edukasyon platform. We look forward to building our presence and partnerships in the region to enable us to empower even more Filipino youth,” Edukasyon founder and chief executive office Henry Motte-Muñoz said.
