Project Hoops, Brazzers now 4-0 in HNDL
CEBU, Philippines — Project Hoops and Brazzers rolled to their fourth straight win in as many starts in the Hoop Nation Developmental League (HNDL) Sunday Night Hoops Season 2 powered by Sunsport at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Christopher Salazar cashed in 15 points, 10 rebounds and four assists as Project Hoops whipped Unknown, 63-50, while Chan Bongco banged in 19 markers on top of seven boards and two dimes to lead the Brazzers past Rustans, 60-56.
On the other hand, Jerry de la Vega collected 11 points, five rebounds and three assists for the RNK Builders, who improved to 3-1 after edging CEPBA, 56-50.
Ian Derder sizzled with 17 points and eight rebounds as Lenovo subdued Milestone, 66-63, to even their record at 2-2, while Gio Comoso had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists as Palfox bested Metro Ayala, 62-57, for their second victory in five games.
In the other results, both the Hoopers and Spit On Them finally barged into the win column after three failed attempts.
Seylon Istoy posted 13 points and eight rebounds as the Hoopers outlasted City Sports, 67-58, while Lloyd Raganas fired 27 points laced with six rebounds to lead Spit On Them to a 106-73 rout of the Assassin. — EBV
